From the very beginning children were involved with G&S productions. Both Gilbert and Sullivan loved children, although neither had any of their own. And, Richard D'Oyly Carte put on children's productions of the G&S shows. Sir Malcolm Sargent was associated with Gilbert and Sullivan and the Savoy operas for nearly forty years. His great love of children is championed in the Children's Hospital which specialises in cancer treatment. Please make a donation to this hospital if you feel inclined.
