Nocturne

Another famous tune from Felix's music to William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, is the Nocturne.

This musical term suggests a tune of the night, but put simply it is a tune of a romantic nature. It is used by many famous composers, and Mendelssohn's Nocturne is inspired by that famous scene in William's play down in the woods where magic prevails . . . but this where it is fun to read it and be inspired ourselves!

Whatever you want to do, hum, dance or sway to it, or draw the scene on paper . . .

Or simply listen to Felix and enjoy his wonderful music . . .
