bulletRosehill Musical Society. Based in Derbyshire. It draws its members from all sections of the community in Derby and surrounding areas.
bulletSale G&S Society was formed in 1972 and has had links with D'Oyly Carte artists over many years.
bulletSavoy Singers, Camberley. Attracts members from a wide area of London, Surrey and Berkshire. Its productions are performed all over the South and South-East of England.
bulletSeattle G&S Society. Founded in 1954, it has had good and bad times, but is now a thriving society with over 1,000 contributing members and has performed all the G&S operas.
bulletSheaf Comic Opera. This is a new name on the Sheffield local amateur scene - some members of the South Yorkshire Players and the City Comic Opera society figure in its productions. They also include members of the Sheffield Gilbert & Sullivan Youth Theatre in their performances.
bulletSouth Anglia Savoy Players. Founded in 1977, members come from all walks of life. Devoted to G&S, they are totally amateur, and spouses are encouraged to help with behind the scenes tasks. They have performed many works in this country and other perts of the world.
bulletSouthampton G&S Society. Over twenty years old, the Society draws its strength from many sources in the Southampton area. Details may be obtained from David Rayner (Producer) at Blake Lapthorn Solicitors in Southampton.
bulletStanford Savoyards
bulletSt Mary's RC High School. Has built a high music and drama reputation in Lancashire and Merseyside and has presented productions at many national festivals.
bulletSt Peter's Gilbert & Sullivan Society, Ravenshead, Nottingham. Founded in 1954. Rehearsals Monday evenings 7.30 - 9.30 in the Church Hall. Performances in Ravenshead Village Hall. New members always welcome - singing on stage or helping behind the scenes.
bulletSummer Savoyards Binghampton USA
bulletThe Festival Production (Buxton) Brings together international enthusiasts who want perform. Auditions are held on Saturday beginning the Festival. Selected cast rehearse throughout week and present show at week-end.
bulletThe Nomads. A G&S 'Society' with no fixed abode. The 'Poor Wandering Ones' of the G&S fraternity, established exclusively for the International Gilbert & Sullivan Association. To perform at the Festival at Buxton (and elsewhere).
bulletThe Orpheus Club, Glasgow.
bulletThe Pennine Players.
bulletThe Savoy Club Glasgow. Formed in the Parkhead Labour Exchange in 1940. Has presented an unbroken series of G&S operas ever since.
bulletThe Savoynetters. A internet based G&S discussion society who come together to perform at the Buxton International Festival. Details on their web-site http://www.cris.co/~oakapple/savoynet .
bulletThe Savoy Singers Camberley. Formed in 1969 to promote the works of G&S. Expanded their repertoire in 1992 to include works of other composers. Prize-winners, they are widely travelled.
bulletThe South Yorkshire Savoy Players. Formed in 1997 to perform in the 1998 Buxton Festival. Drawing G&S lovers from the South Yorkshire who were not otherwise taking.
bulletTrent Opera Company. Formed in 1987. Of no fixed abode, uses talent from the East Midlands, Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire. Performs in Nottingham, Derby, Buxton and many other venues.
bulletTrinity Methodist Musical Drama Fellowship. Billed as the G&S Society, Chelmsford. Performed at the 2000 Buxton G&S Festival.
bulletUniversity of Southampton Light Operatic Society.
bulletWest Chester USA
