Endure to the End

He That Shall Endure to the End is a magnificently serene chorus from the oratorio, Elijah. It is also what you might call a family favourite (in our family, that is). It has been said that it is one of those tunes which stay with you long after you have performed or heard it. A brief chorus, which follows the beautiful O Rest in the Lord, it has an immediate and ephemeral effect on singers and audience.

Taken from the Bible, the text is short and repetitive, in four parts - SATB. Now is the time to dig deep and discover from where the quote comes.

Please feel free to join in and sing, or hum along with our arrangement.  Or just rest back and wallow in Felix's gorgeous music . . .!

He That Shall Endure to the End

He that shall endure to the end,
Shall be saved,
He that shall endure to the end,
Shall be saved,
etc . . .
