This is a fascinating tale about three (Three? Yes three. Well, D'oyly Carte also played a huge part in the story!) of the world's major contributors to the development of operetta and musicals. How many operettas did they write? Did they write Cox & Box? Did they do anything other than G&S operas? But, there's even more to the story than this. There are many interesting diversions about their musical world, friends and associates, and . . .  But, let's wait and see shall we!
